History

One of three Phoenix built by John Gunn. Anatoly Arutunoff commissioned Mr. Gunn to build a Can Am car to SCCA's 1984 Can Am specifications. The original car (Chassis 01) was the prototype and Gunn later offered "customer cars". The prototype was later modified to accept a V-8 and various other changes to meet IMSA's GTP regulations. Arutunoff entered Chassis 2 in 1985 Can Am race at St. Petersburg. He campaigned the car for several years at many SCCA national and regional events. SCCA and NASA registered car with logbook. Recently campaigned in many SVRA events with several wins!

Condition

Excellent condition with recent race preparation. Fresh paint in Red / Yellow livery.

Engine

Professionally built NASCAR V6 Chevy race engine with new racing carburetor.

Transaxle

Hewland DG 300, 5 speed, limited slip differential.
