Originally purchased by Dick Simon Racing for Chilean driver Eliseo Salazar for the 1995 PPG Indycar series. Salazar campaigned this chassis for the entire 95 season with three top ten finishes. His best finish came at the Indianapolis 500 where he finished just outside the podium at 4th place. In 1996 Dick Simon Racing was acquired by Scandia Racing and HU26 was included in the sale. In 1996 Salazar campaigned the car for 3 races with his best finish at Indy in 6th position.
Condition
Very good original condition paint and body work. Less engine (Cosworth XB) but with complete Hewland transaxle. High Down force aero package. Cosworth engines are available.
