2000 Swift Champ Car

Chassis 01

History:

This was the first chassis built by California based Swift Engineering for the 2000 Champ car series. Originally sold to Forsyth Racing and used by the team for testing. The car was tested by Brian Herta. Forsyth with drew his team over a dispute with Champ car and the chassis was sold to Dale Coyne Racing for Brazilian driver Tarso Marques. The car was then changed to a more proven Cosworth XD engine. The car retails it's original paint and livery. Marques campaigned the car the majority of the season with moderate success.

Condition:

Excellent condition. Car retains it's original paint and livery with signs of race patina. Very complete less Cosworth XD engine.
Complete 6 speed transaxle with LSD.
Brembo 8 piston brakes (Front) & Brembo 6 piston brakes (Rear).
Cosworth XD Engine Available.
