History
Originally purchased by John Menard for driver Herm Johnson (1977 Super Vee National Champion) Johnson campaigned the car in 1981 & 82 finishing in the top ten of several races. Johnson qualified the car at the 1982 Indy 500 at 195.929 mph for 14th position and finished the race in a very respectable 9th place.
Condition
Pristine. Restored to original spec and livery by noted Eagle specialist. Ready for track or concours duties.
Engine:
Chevy Small Block, Normally aspirated. Hillborn Injection
Transaxle:
Weismann trans (4 speed) Limited slip differential.
