History
Driven by Dominic Dobson for Bruce Levin Racing and sponsored by Texaco-Havoline Star. It ran a Cosworth turbo V8 at the 1990 Indy 500. Dobson was running as high as 5th but finished 22nd.
In 1991 the car was driven by Gordon Johncock for Hemelgarn Racing and sponsored by Bryant and Byrd's Cafeteria. Johncock finished 6th at the Indy 500. The car was also driven by Michael Andretti in practice at the Indy 500.
Bill Tempero bought the car from Hemelgarn and won the AIS at least twice in 1994 and 1995.
The last several years the car was driven in the USSC semi-pro series where it twice finished 2nd in the series. It has raced the last several years with a Klein built V6 Chevy.
